The information is free. The expertise is available.

Everything on this site is free and always will be. But if you want personalized guidance, a second set of eyes on your plan, or hands-on help, that’s what the consulting services are for.

What I offer

Second Set of Eyes (Plan Review) — You’ve designed your system and you want someone experienced to look it over before you buy parts or start building. I’ll review your plan, flag any code issues, and suggest improvements.

System Sizing Consultation — Not sure how many panels or how much battery you need? I’ll walk you through load analysis, sizing calculations, and component selection for your specific situation and goals.

Regulatory Guidance — Navigating Oregon’s code hierarchy can be confusing. I’ll help you understand which rules apply to your project, whether you need a permit, and what the inspector will expect.

Workshop Facilitation — I lead hands-on solar education workshops for groups. Whether it’s a neighborhood association, maker space, community organization, or workplace team, I’ll bring the curriculum and the components.

Build Day Assistance — Need help on build day? I can be there as a knowledgeable second pair of hands, particularly for the wiring and inspection prep.

SEPTL Solar Night

I lead solar education sessions, look for the next one at the SouthEast Portland Tool Library (https://www.SEPTL.org). Check back here for upcoming workshop dates and materials.
